Physical Form: discrete, non-connected pellets, uniform in size;
thickness at center of pellet not less than 2 mm. Dry material, no lumps.
Colour: any (natural, black, gray, mixed colour, etc.), except white.
Appearance: pellets shall be smooth outside, and free from internal voids and cavities.
Contaminants: when examined under 5x magnification and good lighting, the material shall not contain any significant number of non-polyethylene distinct particles.
Source: homogeneous, consistent and dependable, from a single plant
Homogenization: is an advantage
Quantity: at least 50 ton /month
Packaging: preferably in 2-meter-high Bigbags; delivered on individual pallets
Access: producing plant should accept inspection visits
Materials deviating from above specifications may still be accepted if proved suitable.
